Buh hired as Nevada defensive coordinator
RENO, Nev. — Andy Buh (’BOO) is coming back to Nevada as defensive coordinator after three seasons as an assistant coach at Stanford.
Nevada coach Chris Ault says Buh will replace Nigel Burton, who resigned Dec. 7 to become head coach at Portland State.
Buh is coming off three seasons at Stanford, including the past two as co-defensive coordinator for the Cardinal. He has worked at three other West Coast schools in his 13 years of coaching, including California and Fresno State. He played and coached at Nevada from 1993 to 1999.
