Tendulkar scores 44th Test ton

CHITTAGONG - Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Monday smashed the 44th century of his Test career in the first Test cricket match against Bangladesh being played here.

Earlier on Sunday, Tendulkar had added another record to his name, when he completed 13,000 Test runs.

Australian Skipper Ricky Ponting stands next to him with 39 Test centuries.

The batting maestro also holds the record of scoring maximum number of runs in ODIs. He has scored 17,394 runs with the help of 45 tons.

Tendulkar was unbeaten on 105 and single handedly guided Team India to a respectable 243 in the first innings. (ANI)
