Gunners top Blues in Europe football club rich list

LONDON - Arsenal have overtaken Chelsea in the ‘rich list’ of European clubs, while Manchester United are down to third behind Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The latest Deloitte Football Money League sees the Gunners recording a seven per cent rise in revenue to 224-million-pounds to stand at fifth in the ranking of Europe’s top 20 football club rich list.
Rivals Chelsea is at sixth position in the list, having earned a revenue of 206-million pounds, a three per cent fall, reports The Sun.
Real have topped the ‘rich list’ for five years but, Barca overtook United despite a nine per cent rise in income at Old Trafford.
Liverpool are up to seventh, Spurs are 15th, Manchester City 19th and Newcastle 20th.
