Iowa State dismisses starting right tackle Scott Haughton for violating team rules

AMES, Iowa — Iowa State has dismissed starting right tackle Scott Haughton for violating team rules.
Cyclones coach Paul Rhoads made the announcement Wednesday. No details about Haughton’s dismissal were disclosed.
Haughton is from Sanford, Fla., and would have been a junior next season. He had started 17 straight games for the Cyclones.
