Kenny McKinley Passes Away

ENGLEWOOD (GaeaTimes.com)- Kenny McKinley, the wide receiver of Denver Broncos was found dead in his apartment in Centennial last Monday. The Colorado police suspects that it is a case of suicide and that the 23 year old might have shot himself. Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said that the police found his body in his bedroom.
Kenny McKinley, who was a fifth-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, played eight games with the Denver Broncos as a rookie. Pat Bowlen, the President of Denver Broncos said that everyone in the team is shocked and saddened by the loss of the player. The team president also said that Kenny McKinley was a part of the Denver Broncos family and will be greatly missed by the “organization”. Pat Bowlen expressed his “heartfelt” condolences to Kenny McKinley’s friends and family. The coach of Denver Broncos, Josh McDaniels released a statement where it was maintained that Kenny McKinley had a “promising” future and was a great teammate. The coach also maintained in his statement that the college football player of South Carolina’s sudden demise is a loss of the team and expressed his condolence for his family in their difficult time.
Grayson Robinson told a reputed media source that Kenny McKinley’s body was discovered by one of his female friends who called the police. However, when asked if the police has found any suicide note, Grayson Robinson did not comment anything and said that the police is still investigating about the matter. Kenny McKinley’s college coach, Steve Spurrier said that the wide receiver was one of his all time favorite players. The coach also said that he wasn’t able to figure out “why it happened” like this.
