MELBOURNE - Despite being on air for just two weeks and receiving poor ratings, Shane Warne has managed to bag a Logie nomination.

The former cricketer made a late entry onto the list of nominees for the TV Week’s Logie Awards for the most popular presenter category, reports News.com.au.

His name was placed at the bottom of a list of nominees ordered alphabetically by first names, behind Yumi Stynes.

Low ratings for his chat show and jibes about his tan and his whitened teeth have done little to drag the king of spin down.

Other hosts up for a Silver Logie for most popular presenter include Top Gear’s Shane Jacobson, The Circle girls and X Factor judges Guy Sebastian, Natalie Imbruglia and Kyle Sandilands among others. (ANI)
