IPL-4: Ganguly, Gayle unsold; Gambhir fetches record price

BANGALORE - India’s opening batsman Gautam Gambhir was bought for a record $2.4 million by Kolkata Knight Riders during the players’ auction for the Indian Premier League season four here Saturday.
However, former Knight Riders skippers Sourav Ganguly and Chrish Gayle went unsold.
Following are the first 27 players, who were auctioned in the first two sessions at ITC Royal Gardenia:
