MELBOURNE - England bowling coach David Saker is convinced that fast bowler James Anderson would lead the team’s bowling attack to World Cup glory.
“Jimmy Anderson is one of the world’s top bowlers and is still looking to adapt his game,” the Sun quoted Saker, as saying.
“The rest of the attack are the same, they just want to get better. The key to winning one-day matches in Asia is to take wickets,” he added.
Anderson had been the spearhead of England’s successful Ashes campaign, claiming 24 wickets at an average of 26.04.
The two-month tournament will be jointly hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh from February 19. (ANI)
