Tulowitzki leaves game with sore hand

HOUSTON — Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki left in the fourth inning of Tuesday’s game against the Houston Astros with a sore left hand.

Tulowitzki played three innings before Omar Quintanilla replaced him in the field. Tulowitzki batted twice, striking out and flying out.

The team said Tulowitzki was taken to a Houston hospital for precautionary X-rays.
