New Omaha stadium to have TD Ameritrade name

OMAHA, Neb. — TD Ameritrade will pay $20 million over the next 20 years for naming rights to the Omaha stadium that will be home to the College World Series.

The online brokerage company and the Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority have scheduled a news conference for Wednesday to announce the deal.

The stadium will host the College World Series beginning in 2011. It will replace Rosenblatt Stadium, home to the CWS since 1950 and the minor league Omaha Royals since 1969.

The Royals have secured a deal to move to a yet-to-be-built stadium near suburban Papillion.
