Police: Shaq’s wife recovering from minor crash
ORLANDO, Fla. — The wife of basketball star Shaquille O’Neal is recovering from a minor fender bender.
Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Kim Miller says Shaunie O’Neal was a passenger in a town car that was rear-ended by another car at an intersection in Orlando Tuesday.
Authorities say the town car had stopped at the intersection when the light turned yellow. The driver of the other car didn’t stop.
O’Neal, along with the town car’s driver and a 20-year-old passenger, were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the other car was ticketed for careless driving.
On her Twitter page, O’Neal wrote Wednesday that she was feeling stiff but better.
Shaquille O’Neal now plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
