Stony Brook routs Presbyterian 52-14
STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Michael Coulter threw two touchdown passes and ran for another, as Stony Brook beat Presbyterian 52-14 on Saturday in a Big South Conference game.
Coulter connected with Donald Porter on touchdown passes of 59 and 60 yards, and the Stony Brook quarterback also scored on a 6-yard run. Porter caught four passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns. The Seawolves (2-3, 1-0) piled up 610 total yards of offense.
Wes Skiffington kicked two field goals from 22 yards out, and also connected on kicks of 37 and 38 yards for the Seawolves, making him 8-for-8 on the season.
Ed Gowins led the ground game for the Seawolves, rushing for 135 yards and a score.
Brandon Miley was 17-for-23 with 146 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the Blue Hose (0-4, 0-2). Trandon Dendy added 59 yards rushing and a touchdown.
