Jacksonville State routs Murray State 41-7

MURRAY, Ky. — Ryan Perriloux had a career day with three touchdown passes and Jacksonville State beat Murray State 41-7 on Saturday.

Perriloux had a career-high 318 yards for the Gamecocks (4-2, 2-0 Ohio Valley Conference). He had touchdown passes of 9 yards to Justin Howard, 66 yards to James Shaw and 34 yards to Jamal Young. Perriloux has thrown at least three touchdown passes in each of the last four games.

Young also rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns for the Gamecocks, who amassed 580 total yards on offense, the most since 2004. The 32 first downs ties the school record set in 1978 against Livingston, and the passing output was the highest since 1999.

For Murray State (1-4, 0-2), quarterback Nico Yantko was 18-for-36 for 186 yards and a touchdown. He was intercepted three times.

The Gamecocks have won six straight in the series.
