Seton Hall beats Hartford 89-56 to go 6-0
NEWARK, N.J. — Jordan Theodore scored 17 points and Seton Hall cruised to an 89-56 victory over Hartford on Thursday night to stay undefeated.
The Pirates (6-0) won their third straight game by at least 29 points for the first time in program history and equaled their 2007-08 start.
Seton Hall outrebounded the Hawks 46-32 and scored 22 points off 17 turnovers.
Robert Mitchell and Jeremy Hazell scored 15 points apiece for the Pirates. Eugene Harvey added 11 points and a career-high 14 assists.
Joe Zeglinski gave the Hawks (2-6) a 7-6 lead with a 3-pointer with 16:32 left in the first half, but Harvey put Seton Hall ahead for good with a trey 15 seconds later.
The Hawks shot only 33.3 percent (20-for-60) from the field for the game, with Zeglinski scoring 13 points and Joel Barkers adding 10.
Hartford has not won on the road yet this season.
