Coleman pours in 26 points as Houston dominates The Citadel 81-58

Coleman leads Houston to 81-58 rout of Citadel
HOUSTON — Aubrey Coleman continued his high-scoring ways Monday, pouring in 26 points as Houston defeated The Citadel 81-58.
Coleman, who came into the game as the nation’s leading Division I scorer at 26.9 points per game, also had 10 rebounds and four steals for the Cougars (6-3).
Kelvin Lewis added 20 points and six steals, Adam Brown had 17 points, and Maurice McNeil had nine points and 16 rebounds for Houston, which dominated inside. The Cougars outscored The Citadel 37-22 on points in the paint and hit 20 free throws (in 26 attempts) to just three for the Bulldogs (on four attempts).
Cameron Wells and Harrison DuPont led The Citadel (6-7) with 14 points each. Cosmo Morabbi added 12.
Houston, which never trailed in the game, jumped ahead 7-0 at the outset and increased that margin to 38-23 at halftime. The Bulldogs led by as many as 35 in the second half.
