Bucknell defeats Marist 70-67 in overtime
LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bryan Cohen scored eight of his 16 points in overtime to help Bucknell defeat Marist 70-67 on Wednesday night.
Cohen also had 10 rebounds and led four Bison (5-9) in double-digit scoring.
Mike Muscala scored 18 points, Darryl Shazier added 16 and Bryson Johnson chipped in 11 for Bucknell, which defeated the Red Foxes for the first time in three games.
The Bison had seven turnovers, compared to 13 by the Red Foxes (0-11) and snapped a six-game losing streak.
Marist shot 52.6 percent from 3-point range (10 of 19), including a 3-for-3 effort by Devin Price.
Price and Korey Bauer finished with 13 points apiece for the Red Foxes and Rob Johnson added 17.
Marist’s Candon Rusin sent the game to overtime, tying it at 59-59 on a layup with 11 seconds left in regulation.
