Parakhouski tallies 10th double-double in Radford’s 75-45 win over Gardner-Webb

Radford defeats Gardner-Webb 75-45
RADFORD, Va. — Art Parakhouski scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to help Radford defeat Gardner-Webb 75-45 on Monday night.
Parakhouski, who tallied his 10th double-double of the season, had his third in the first half with 18 points and 11 rebounds to help the Highlanders (8-5, 4-0 Big South Conference) lead 36-22 at halftime.
Lazar Trifunovic, who finished with 16 points, scored 12 in the first half to team with Parakhouski for 30 of Radford’s 36 first-half points.
The Runnin’ Bulldogs (3-10, 0-3) scored the first four points of the second half to cut the score to 36-26 on C.J. Hailey’s jumper with 18:54 left. But the Highlanders answered with a 20-1 run, capped by Parakhouski’s layup for a 58-29 lead with 11:38 remaining.
Jonathan Moore scored 10 points for the Bulldogs, who lost their 10th in a row.
Gardner-Webb shot 10 percent from 3-point range (2 of 20).
