Wittman scores 15 points, 13 others score for Cornell in 82-37 rout of D-III Clarkson

Cornell crushes Clarkson 82-37
ITHACA, N.Y. — Ryan Wittman had 15 points and was one of 14 Cornell players to score, leading the Big Red to an 82-37 rout over Clarkson University on Monday night.
Jeff Foote added 14 points and Louis Dale had 10 for the Big Red (14-3), who have won back-to-back games and 12 of their last 13. Foote grabbed eight rebounds while Wittman hit three 3-pointers and Dale knocked down two from long range.
The Big Red opened the game on a 22-7 run, led by 18 at the break and put together a 23-3 run in the second half to seal the rout.
Cornell shot 49.3 percent from the floor for the game (34-for-69) compared to just 25 percent (13-for-52) for Clarkson.
The Golden Knights (6-4) didn’t have a player in double figures, as Felix Llanos and Elson Pickering scored eight points apiece to lead Division III Clarkson.
