Siena routs Rider 80-54
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — Edwin Ubiles scored 21 points and Siena routed Rider 80-54 on Friday night.
Ryan Rossiter had his 17th double-double of the season with 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Saints (23-6, 16-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), who are 2-2 since snapping a 15-game winning streak. Clarence Jackson added 16 points and Alex Franklin had 12.
The Saints shot 61.3 percent from the field (19-for-31) in the first half on their way to a 47-28 halftime lead. They shot 55.4 percent (31-for-56) for the game.
A 22-7 run to begin the second half, capped by a layup by Ronald Moore with 12:53 to play, gave Siena its largest lead of the game at 69-35.
Novar Gadson came off the bench to score 25 points and Ryan Thompson added 10 for the Broncs (15-15, 8-9), who lost for the third time in the past four games.
The Broncs made only 22 of 59 field goal tries (37.3 percent).
