Blake helps Dodgers rally for 7-3 win over Brewers
GLENDALE, Ariz. — Casey Blake singled in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning, one of five consecutive hits by the Dodgers, and Los Angeles rallied to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-3 on Thursday.
The Dodgers trailed 3-2 when Andre Ethier opened the hit parade off Manny Parra with a single. Manny Ramirez singled, then James Loney’s double to the left field corner tied the game at 3. Blake’s RBI followed to make it 4-3 before Garret Anderson’s RBI single added another run.
J.D. Closser hit the top of the bullpen fence in left, scoring Blake to extend the Dodgers’ lead to 6-3.
Rickie Weeks hit a two-out, two-run double in the fifth that put Milwaukee ahead 3-2. The Brewers dropped both of their meetings with the Dodgers, having lost 8-4 in a split-squad game on Monday.
