Global Crossing in deal with MLB
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Bermuda-based telecommunications company Global Crossing Ltd. said Thursday that it will provide high-speed online connections at all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums and the MLB.com servers in New York City.
This will enable MLB to distribute live streaming video and other content to its online subscribers, the company said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Shares of Global Crossing slid 9 cents to $11.47 in late morning trading.
