BOSTON (GaeaTimes.com) — Johnny Daton has a chance to make amends with his former enstranged club the Boston Red Sox. The final decision lies with him as to if he is still willing to go on with the trade. He has till Wednesday afternoon to decide if he is going to allow the trade.

Daton cut off ties with the Boston team after the 2005 season as he left for the New York Yankees. He later signed an 8 million contract with the Detroit Tigers in this off-season. If this deal actually goes through the long tumultuous relationship with the Boston club could receive a closure. He fell out with the club officials during the contract negotiations following the World Series title.

Johnny Daton admits that he’d still want to be a Tiger but he could actually help them by this move to bring them a prospect. He also suggested that he would consider the offer seriously. Let us see whether he actually goes through the deal
