NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — The White Sox are all set to claim Manny Ramirez. All they are waiting for is the Dodgers to place him on waivers. Previously Chicago also had their take on Ramirez before the trading deadline.
There are expectations of a clear decision from the Los Angeles by Tuesday.
Others interested in Manny Ramirez are viz. The Rays and Rangers. The White Sox are sure to try their luck with Ramirez. On the other hand Los Angeles would be barred from trading Manny for the rest of the season if another team claims him and he rejects the offer.
Manuel “Manny” Aristides Ramirez Onelcida was born in May 30, 1972, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is a Dominican-American Major League Baseball left fielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has bagged a records in his career. Ramirez has been a fixture in the All-Star Game, and is a 12-time All-Star.
