Saul Alvarez Wins Over Carlos Baldomir

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Saul Alvarez proved it again. The rising star from “Mexico” continued his winning streak by registering a marvelous 6th round win against veteran Carlos Baldomir. The fight that was held during the Shane Mosley-Sergio Mora card event at Staples Center, saw the former come up with a restrained and planned play that not only tired his opponent but also led him to submit at 2:58 minutes into the sixth round. A left hook by Saul Alvarez ended the play in his favor.

From the very beginning of the Saturday night Saul Alvarez and Carlos Baldomir bout, it was the former who caught the attention of audience. Saul Alvarez showed a lot of patience and went for some stiff jabs from the very beginning. His powerful punches followed by right hand left the 39-year-old Carlos Baldomir frustrated.
