CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Former Australian cricket star Glenn McGrath’s charity The McGrath Foundation has refuted reports that it has launched a nation-wide poll about what his fans think about the cricketing great’s romance with fiancee Sara Leonardi. It had been reported earlier on that the charitable foundation which was established by Glenn McGrath and his late wife to create awareness about breast cancer, had initiated a national survey to gauge the public opinion about his relationship with his present lady love. However, the charity has brushed away the reports saying that at no point it had sought opinion of the public about the Glenn McGrath’s engagement to the Australian beauty.
In a statement that was issued on Tuesday, the foundation said that over the weekend, it has initiated an annual tracking survey to know how much people were informed about the breast cancer charity. However, the foundation confirmed that during the survey, there were no questions that asked people about what they thought of the relationship between Glenn McGrath and his fiancee.
Although The McGrath Foundation has made it very clear that the poll seeking public opinion about Glenn McGrath and his fiancee does not hold even an ounce of truth, it has been emphasized that there were some question in the poll that had been taken out of context for which the foundation expressed its apologies. The statement further read that the cricketing great was an integral part of the foundation and his support was unwavering. The McGrath Foundation was established by Glenn McGrath and his wife Jane to support women confronting the disease as well as their families.
