WELLINGTON - New Zealand cricket team coach John Wright has made it clear that he is on the lookout for results in the lead up to the World Cup that is to be played on the Indian subcontinent from next month.

“Ideally we want to win matches because that gives you momentum going into (the World Cup) and the confidence that goes with it. We need to keep winning,” stuff.co.nz quoted Wright, as saying.

Wright reiterated that the selectors wanted to see all 15 World Cup squad members get action in the six-match series, leaving them with a tricky balancing act between maintaining winning momentum and giving players game time. (ANI)
