Dasher throws for 263 yards, 4 TDs to lead Middle Tennessee to 38-14 win over Arkansas State

Middle Tennessee beats Arkansas State 38-14
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Dwight Dasher threw four touchdown passes to lead Middle Tennessee to a 38-14 victory over Arkansas State on Saturday.
It was the fifth straight victory for the Blue Raiders (8-3, 6-1 Sun Belt Conference), who had 427 yards of offense.
Dasher threw three touchdown passes and Middle Tennessee led 24-0 before Arkansas State scored. Dasher was 15-for-26 for 263 yards and had scoring passes of 80, 32, 12 and 7 yards. He also ran for 73 yards on 18 carries.
Arkansas State (2-8, 1-5) was held to 44 yards rushing. The Red Wolves also committed 15 penalties for 118 yards.
Dasher threw an 80-yard touchdown pass to D.D. Kyles for a 7-0 lead with 12:20 left. Dasher then threw TD passes of 12 yards to Chris McClover and 32 yards to Harold Turner for a 24-0 lead with 6:20 left in the second quarter.
Ryan Aplin threw for 147 yards and a score for Arkansas State.
