Nebraska’s Suh reports threat against student

OMAHA, Neb. — Heisman Trophy finalist Ndamukong Suh (en-DOM-ah-ken sue) has reported a Dallas student who threatened on Facebook to shoot a classmate.

Kevin Janse of the Dallas police told The Associated Press that the Nebraska defensive lineman saw the threat on his Facebook fan page and contacted Lincoln police, who notified authorities in Dallas. Officers confronted the student before classes began Friday morning at Jesuit High School.

Janse says officers interviewed the student and determined the threat was not credible. No charges will be filed. Nebraska spokesman Jeremy Foote says he has no details about the matter.

Sue is in contention for the Heisman on Saturday night with Mark Ingram, Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy and Toby Gerhart.
