Weathers scores 20 points to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff to 69-68 win over MVSU in OT

Arkansas-Pine Bluff nips MVSU 69-68 in OT
GREENVILLE, Miss. — Lebaron Weathers scored 20 points and three other players reached double figures as Arkansas-Pine Bluff beat Mississippi Valley State in overtime 69-68 on Monday night.
Tyree Glass added 16 points, and Terrance Calvin and Tavaris Washington each scored 10 for the Golden Lions (1-11, 1-0 Southwestern Athletic Conference), who snapped an 11-game losing streak. Weathers and Glass combined to score all seven points for the Golden Lions in overtime.
The Delta Devils (1-13, 0-1) lost their 10th straight game. Shannon Behling led MVSU with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Kevin Burwell added 14 points and Julius Cheeks had 13 for the Delta Devils.
The Golden Lions led 33-26 at halftime and the game was tied 62-62 at the end of regulation. The Golden Lions, who shot 48.2 percent (27-for-56) from the field, dominated close to the basket and scored 34 points in the paint.
