Harvin leads No. 15 ‘Noles to 85-64 win over BC
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Alysha Harvin hit six 3-pointers and scored a career-high 22 points, Chasity Clayton added a career-high 21 and No. 15 Florida State beat Boston College 85-64 Sunday.
The Seminoles (18-3, 4-1 ACC) broke the game open from the 3-point line, hitting five from beyond the arc while outscoring the Eagles 23-5 over a 9:29 first-half span. The run turned an 8-7 deficit into a 30-13 lead.
Clayton added a career-high 11 rebounds for Florida State, while Courtney Ward scored 13 points and Jacinta Monroe added 10.
The ACC’s top 3-point shooting team, Florida State made 11 of 22 from outside. Boston College (11-9, 2-3) made just two of its 16 3-point attempts.
Carolyn Swords led Boston College with 19 points.
