Aska, Canaan each score 13 points to lead Murray State in 77-45 rout of Tennessee-Martin

Murray State routs Tennessee-Martin 77-45
MARTIN, Tenn. — Ivan Aska and Isaiah Canaan each scored 13 points and Murray State routed Tennessee-Martin 77-45 on Saturday for its 11th win in a row.
Danero Thomas added 11 points for the Racers (20-3, 11-0 Ohio Valley Conference), who are off to their best start since the 1998-99 team opened the season 20-2.
Tony Easley swatted seven of the Racers’ 12 blocked shots.
The Racers led 46-23 at halftime, built a 34-point lead with 4:41 to play and coasted to their 18th straight conference win. Led by Aska, who made 6 of 7 field goals, the Racers shot 56.6 percent from the field (30 of 53). Meanwhile, the Skyhawks made only 15 of 61 field goal attempts (24.6 percent), including going 1-for-11 (9.1 percent) from 3-point range.
Marquis Weddle scored nine points to lead the Skyhawks (3-17, 0-10), who have lost eight of their past nine games.
