Late basket lifts Saint Louis past St. Bonaventure 67-65

Saint Louis tops St. Bonaventure 67-65
ST. LOUIS — Kwamain Mitchell hit a short jumper with 1.4 seconds left to lift Saint Louis past St. Bonaventure 67-65 in an Atlantic 10 Conference game on Wednesday night.
Mitchell scored 16 of his game-high 17 points in the second half. Willie Reed added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Saint Louis (13-8, 4-3).
Jonathan Hall and Andrew Nicholson scored 13 points for St. Bonaventure (9-11, 2-5), which has lost six of its last eight games.
Saint Louis led 60-49 with 4:35 left before the Bonnies came back. Hall capped the rally by hitting a 3-pointer with 26 seconds left to tie it 65-65.
Jon Smith added 11 points for Saint Louis, which broke a two-game losing streak.
