BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Greer Wright scored 19 points and Dylan Talley added 17, including three free throws in the final 49 seconds, to lead Binghamton in a 78-73 win over Albany (N.Y.) on Wednesday night.
Leading just 64-60 with 3:29 left, Talley finished a three-point play that sparked Binghamton’s 9-2 run. He then hit a pair of foul shots to put the Bearcats up 75-65 and, after Albany cut the lead with a pair of 3s, Talley knocked down a free throw with 27 seconds left to push the Binghamton lead to five.
Wright’s dunk with 11 seconds left to put the Bearcats (11-13, 6-3 America East Conference) up 78-71.
Moussa Camara added 14 points and Mahamoud Jabbi notched a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for Binghamton.
Tim Ambrose and Logan Aronhalt led the Great Danes (6-19, 1-9) with 16 points apiece.
Binghamton is on a season-high four game win streak.
