Glass scores 14 to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff to 68-56 win over Grambling State

Arkansas-Pine Bluff beats Grambling State 68-56
GRAMBLING, La. — Tyree Glass finished with 14 points to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff to a 68-56 victory over Grambling State on Saturday.
Lebaron Weathers added 12 points for the Golden Lions (13-14, 13-3 Southwestern Athletic Conference), while Terrance Calvin grabbed 10 rebounds. Arkansas-Pine Bluff has won seven games in a row.
Rupert Rose led the Tigers (6-17, 4-11) with 16 points, shooting 11-for-14 from the free throw line. Lance Fuertado chipped in with 12 points. Grambling State has lost four straight games and nine of its last 11 games.
The Golden Lions shot 46.8 percent from the field (22-for-47), while Grambling State managed to shoot only 28.9 percent (13-for-45). Arkansas-Pine Bluff also outrebounded the Tigers 39-28.
Both Rose and Terdarin Bryson fouled out for Grambling State, and the Golden Lions shot 21-for-31 from the free throw line (67.7 percent).
