NEW YORK (Gaeatimes.com)- On Monday the officials of the NCAA released the NCAA Baseball Tournament 2010 brackets. According to the statement released in the official website of the organization, the Division I Championship Tournament is scheduled to begin on June 4. The Arizona State University baseball team has been able to manage the top seeding this time followed by Texas, Florida, Coastal Carolina, Virginia, UCLA, Louisville and Georgia Tech baseball teams. While these are the top eight seeded teams this year going for the NCAA Baseball Tournament, there are in total 64 teams that will compete against each other for the title.

The Arizona Suns Devils getting the top seed at the NCAA Baseball Tournament 2010 comes not as a surprise to many. They have gone on to prove themselves and won the Pac10 title. They have played well throughout the season. The committee chairman Tim Weiser mentioned to media sources that the team “didn’t make very many mistakes throughout the course of the season and down the stretch”. He said that the team was able to prove throughout the season that they are different from a lot more of other teams that have been selected to play in the tournament.

29 of the total 64 teams that have been selected for the NCAA baseball Tournament 2010 will be returning to the tournament after a year. They were not included in the NCAA baseball Tournament last year. This year the Miami Hurricanes team is also in its way to make history as it got included in the list of the NCAA baseball Tournament 2010 teams for the 38th consecutive year.
