Izzo declines to give camper scoop on future plans
EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State coach Tom Izzo is at his basketball camp, and still isn’t saying whether he’s made a decision about the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Izzo told a camper Monday that he had asked a “bad question” about the coach’s status. Izzo then said “those guys up there want to know that,” referring to a group of reporters, TV cameramen and photographers given limited access to the camp.
Izzo did not look at or talk with reporters when he arrived at his office early Monday morning. He indicated Sunday he’s undecided in a text message to The Associated Press.
Cavs general manager Chris Grant declined comment Monday.
