Sharad Pawar is new ICC president

SINGAPORE - Former BCCI president Sharad Pawar has taken over as International Cricket Council president Thursday.

Pawar was the ICC president designate and he took over from Britain’s David Morgan.

He is the second Indian after Jagmohan Dalmiya to become the ICC president.
