Bucks pick Hobson may miss summer league
MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Bucks second-round pick Darington Hobson says he hurt his right groin muscle working out and may miss the NBA Summer League games in Las Vegas.
Hobson, a 6-foot-7 guard from New Mexico, says he’s hopeful he’ll get back to the court before the team finishes summer league play. Milwaukee plays five games, beginning with Dallas on Monday.
Hobson is from Las Vegas and says he plans to go regardless of his availability. Milwaukee’s team will leave Sunday and includes its three draft picks — forward Larry Sanders (15th), Hobson (37th) and forward Tiny Gallon (47th).
Also playing for the Bucks is forward Darnell Jackson, who was picked up late last season and appeared in one game.
