ATLANTA (GaeaTimes.com) — Baseman Derrek Lee will now show up for The Braves. Derrek is now going through the worst phase of his career. He has been suffering of back pain and was out of the game last Wednesday as The Cubs battled San Diego.

It is a 1:3 deal between The Atlanta Braves and The Chicago Cubs as Atlanta will send three minor-leaguers to the Cubs against their acquisition of Derrek Lee.

Derrek Leon Lee was born on September 6, 1975 in Sacramento, California. Lee played with the San Diego Padres (1997), the Florida Marlins (19982003), and the Chicago Cubs (2004-2010) before joining in with The Atlanta Braves.

Derrek’s numbers are too disappointing. This happens to be the final year of his $65 million contract and what he achieved is just .251 hits with 16 homers and 56 RBIs. It seems he has to work hard to get going.
