Rondo Leaves The American BasketBall Team

ATHENS (GaeaTimes.com) — In a shocking turn of events in the FIBA World Championship Boston Celtics Superstar Rajon Rondo decided to withdraw from the event. He started the first two games for the American National Team but was sidelined for this Sunday’s match against Spain.
Rondo in an interview said that he was aware of the obvious destiny for his role campaign as he was dropped from the team even as America was loosing. He later withdrew to take care of some “Family Matters”. US BasketBall Chairman Jerry Colangelo said that
[Rondo] did an outstanding job during our training, we appreciate the effort and commitment he made to our program and he completely has our support
The final 12 man roster set now looks like this: Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Rudy Gay, Lamar Odom, Chauncey Billups, Danny Granger, Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon, Stephen Curry, Kevin Love, Tyson Chandler and Andre Iguodala.
Their next match is against Greece this Wednesday The championship matches will start from this Saturday in Turkey. Rondo was not in the best of forms as he scored 1 of 4, two points, one assist, four turnovers against Lithuania. He was also 5 of 19 in the NBA finals.
