Wild Ohio pitching helps Hawaii in LLWS win

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Matthew Campos hit a three-run homer and Waipahu, Hawaii, took advantage of wildness by Hamilton, Ohio, pitchers for a 6-4 win Wednesday to advance at the Little League World Series.

Ohio starter Brooks Robinson dominated through the first three innings, allowing just a walk, before having control problems in the fourth. Ohio led 4-0 when Robinson loaded the bases on a hit batsman and two walks before a run scored on a groundout.

Later, with two outs, Campos tied the game with a homer to right. Two runs later scored in the inning on a hit batter and wild pitch.

Ezra Heleski pitched 2 2-3 innings of scoreless relief, working out of a first-and-third jam with one out in the sixth to cap the win.
