New Wizards owner Leonsis posts list of changes
WASHINGTON — Well-stocked toilet paper? Check.
Colder beer? Check.
Different cheerleader outfits? Check.
New Washington Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has posted on his blog a “List of 101 Signs of Visible Change” undertaken since he gained control of the NBA team in June.
The improvements are based on fan suggestions.
No. 2 on the list: “Reconnect with Gilbert Arenas.” That, like the other 100 items, has a check mark in the column labeled “Completed?” Then, in the column labeled, “What we’re doing,” Leonsis writes: “Met with Gilbert and connected in person and via e-mail.”
No. 31 is “Change Wizards’ team name to Bullets,” which is “Under consideration.”
