Abu Dhabi, Nov 10 (IANS/WAM) The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) has set up an information centre at the Yas Island which will host the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Nov 14.

“Our new, strategically-placed information centre will capitalise on the park’s thousands of daily visitors and provide them with informed material that will significantly enhance the entire experience of visiting the emirate,” said Khaled Al Hashemi, administration divison director of the ADTA.

A section is also devoted to forthcoming ADTA events such as Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge to be held in December, Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship and Gourmet Abu Dhabi to be held next year.

Three temporary centres at Yas Marina Circuit will also be open during the event.

Saeed Al Dhaheri, Tourism Information Services Manager, ADTA, said: “With so many visitors making the trip to Yas Island, the race weekend is the perfect environment to increase awareness of every aspect of Abu Dhabi’s multi-faceted tourism proposition.”
