There have been reports that Dana Holgorsen will receive a six year contract from the West Virginia Mountaineers. However as of now nothing has been confirmed officially. Hopefully, Dana Holgorsen will come to achieve his dreams with the West Virginia Mountaineers. He has been the defensive coordinator for the Oklahoma State for quite some time and was the head coach in waiting. Although he himself has not spoken any thing about this issue but it is quite likely that he will definitely shift camps. It is not much difficult to guess that if such a lucrative offer comes up on any defensive coordinator’s way nobody is going to give it a miss.
If the reports come out to be true then Dana Holgorsen will replace Bill Stewart as the head coach. Head coach of West Virginia Mountaineers Bill Stewart is yet to complete the last three years of his six years contract with the Mountaineers. A source, claimed that he might be shifted to a different post within the team. On being questioned about the latest hiring, spokesman Mike Montoro of the Mountaineers said that he would not make any comment since nothing was fixed.
