LONDON - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that after reaching the Carling Cup final, his team is now ready to end its silverware drought.
The Gunners will bid to finally end six barren years against West Ham United or Birmingham at Wembley on February 27.
“We’re trying to win everything we can. If we can win this it will take the pressure off to deliver in the other competitions,” the Sun quoted Wenger, as saying.
“It is not the only target we have this season, we have even bigger targets. But it can help us to achieve the other targets,” he added.
With 46 points from 23 matches, Arsenal is currently second in the Premier League table.
They are currently five points behind league leaders Manchester United. (ANI)
