Florida State routs Tennessee-Martin 95-68

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Freshman Michael Snaer scored a career-high 18 points to lead Florida State to a 95-68 win over Tennessee-Martin on Tuesday night.

Florida State’s offense, which had broken the 80-point scoring barrier only once since November 21, eclipsed 90 points for the first time this season.

The Seminoles (11-2) outscored the Skyhawks (1-9) 23-2 in the game’s first 8:11, as Tennessee-Martin shot just 36.8 percent from the floor. It was the ninth time this season Florida State held an opponent under 37 percent shooting.

Snaer was one of six Seminoles to score in double figures. Xavier Gibson scored 12 points and Terrence Shannon 11. Jordan Demercy, Deividas Dulkys and Chris Singleton each added 10.

Tennessee-Martin’s Marquis Weddle finished with a game-high 27 points.
