Obama gets it right with Duke in NCAA bracket

NEW YORK — The president got it right with Duke. Now he needs the Blue Devils to duck out.

President Barack Obama correctly tabbed the top-seeded Blue Devils to reach the round of eight in his ESPN.com bracket, and his picks still rank among the top 12 percent on the Web site.

But Obama doesn’t have Duke making the Final Four. Instead, he picked Villanova to win the South Regional, and the Wildcats have been eliminated.

Two teams that Obama predicted would reach the Final Four — Kentucky and Kansas State — play their games Saturday. Kansas, his choice to win the tournament, is already out.

Obama’s bracket ranked 570,093rd overall on ESPN.com’s leaderboard. Last year, the president correctly picked North Carolina to win the championship.
