SALT LAKE CITY — Carlos Boozer had 25 points and 13 rebounds, Deron Williams had a season-high 19 assists and the Utah Jazz kept pace in a tight Western Conference playoff race with a dominating 128-104 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

Kyle Korver added a season-high 21 points for the Jazz, who took control of the game early in the second quarter and had a season-best 73 points in the first half.

Utah remained a half-game behind Dallas for the No. 2 seed in the conference and is 4½ games back of the West-leading Los Angeles Lakers.

Corey Maggette scored 22 points and Anthony Morrow added 21 for Golden State, which lost for the fifth time in seven games.

The Jazz stretched their lead in the Midwest Division to 1½ games ahead of idle Denver with six games remaining and improved to 31-8 at home.

The Jazz, who got assists on 37 of their 46 baskets, led by as many as 31 and shot 42 percent from 3-point range (8 for 19).

Williams scored only eight points, just the seventh time this season the All-Star point guard failed to score in double figures.

The Warriors made just 4 of 26 attempts from 3-point range (15 percent) and shot 36 percent from the field.
