PHILADELPHIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The 6-feet-5 and 250 pounds linebacker Alex Hall will now play for the Philadelphia Eagles. The team has acquired the player along with two fourth and fifth draft picks this season by trading cornerback Sheldon Brown and Linebacker Chris Gocong to the Cleveland Browns. On Friday the Philadelphia Eagles declared about the deal in their official website. Many are speculating that the new inclusion is a part of the team’s drive to include some young players in the team reportedly.

24 year old Alex Hall was picked by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round pick back in the year 2008. He had since then played 30 games and had 30 tackles and three sacks in total. The general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles Howie Roseman had reportedly mentioned that Alex Hall is a big athletic linebacker and that in the new team he will get the opportunity to fight for the spot of the linebacker. However according to some critics, the inclusion of Alex Hall is hardly going to help the Philadelphia Eagles to cope with their ends problem.

However, according to Howie Roseman the new player will surely add to the success of the team. According to reports the cornerback player Sheldon Browns who is traded to the Cleveland Browns was not happy with his contract position in Philadelphia Eagles. However, Howie Roseman maintained that he had spoken to Sheldon Brown and told him about the deal and thanked him for his contribution for the team’s success. Along with Alex Hall the Philadelphia Eagles are trying to bring some more young players to the team.
