PHILADELPHIA (GaeaTimes.com) Thursday night witnessed the victory of the Philadelphia Eagles over the Houston Texans as the latter were crushed down by the former with the match outcome resulting in a 34-24 victory for the Eagles. Philadelphia Eagles supporters have a good reason to celebrate after the team emerged victorious in the Texans vs Eagles match that initially seemed in the favor of the Houston Texans. The Texans after crushing the Tennessee Titans by 20-0 in their last match had kindled hopes of shocking both the NFL as well as the audience by once again proving themselves as the mighty one, but all to their dismay.
Michael Vick of the Philadelphia Eagles hurried for a lead in the fourth quarter and led his team well after making his second touchdown pass, shooting up a victory of 34-24 for his team vs the Texans. Ardent followers of Philadelphia Eagles present at the Lincoln Financial Field burst out in joy cheering aloud for their team. It was not so easy as the Houston Texans had thought the match would be for them. Houston Texans who had made a slow start started falling behind by 17-3 in the second quarter and then for 20-10 during halftime. However the team did not give way to the opponents and stormed in the third quarter giving two touchdowns, changing the score-board to a 24-20 in their favor.
However, audience present saw the Texans defense fail all of a sudden as the rivals charged them with their quarterback Michael Vick. The Philadelphia Eagles toppled over the Houston Texans for 416 yards, including the 302 pass by their quarterback Vick who was 22-of-33 with two touchdowns. The day also saw Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Winston Justice taking a leave from the Eagles vs Texans match with an injured knee.
